💭 The Meaning Behind YUGYEOM‘s LOLO lyrics

In an online radio interview, YUGYEOM once explained that the title “LOLO” came from the word “Low-key.” The word can have different meanings depending on the context.

In general low-key can describe something simple, quiet, subtle, or not meant to attract too much attention. In casual or slang use it can also describe a feeling or action that is kept private and not shown openly to other people.

In this song Yugyeom uses this idea of low-key to describe a relationship that belongs only to two people.
