The "Billboard Korea Artist Spotlight: A Conversation with Yugyeom" was a special live talk event held on March 28, 2025, at the University of Southern California (USC).

Co-hosted by Billboard Korea, the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, and the Korean Studies Institute, the event took place during the 2025 Yugyeom Tour [TRUSTY] in North America & Latam. Sitting down with USC professor Hye Jin Lee, Yugyeom opened up about his decade-long career, his financial struggles during the pandemic, and his artistic evolution, including changes and challenges in the K-POP industry.

Before wrapping up the panel, Yugyeom left the packed room of university students with an inspiring piece of advice: "No matter what you do, if you give it 100%, 200%, you won't regret it—even if it doesn't work out. Anyone can fail, but the important thing is to try. If you don't try, you'll never know."
